Warranty Information

These Terms and Conditions of Sale, along with the Credit Application or guarantee agreement, confirms and constitutes this contract for the sale of good between chipmax.com (Seller) and Buyer and governs the rights and obligation of the parties notwithstanding any prior course of dealing, custom or usage of sales, course of performance, prior invoice terms and conditions, purchase orders, contracts and agreements. Seller and Buyer hereby agree to the following:

All defective products may be returned for repair or replacement only, at chipmax.com discretion within warranty period from the invoice date.Any questions on warranties see the below text.

We at chipmax.com are confident in the quality of the products that we sell. All defective products may be returned within 10 days from the invoice date. All returns for credit or exchange are subject to a 20% restocking fee and must be completed within 10 days from the invoice date and are based on current market value whichever is lower. All returns for credit or exchange must be complete and unopened in the factory sealed product box. Manufacturers simply do not allow opened non-defective items to be returned for credit or exchange. Shipping is not refundable.

chipmax.com offers the following three options for replacement and return:

  • Replace defective product (on receive) - chipmax.com will ship a replacement upon receiving the defective product.
  • Replace defective product (cross ship within 10 days from the invoice date only) - chipmax.com will ship a replacement, billed to your credit card. A credit will be processed within two weeks of receiving the defective product.
  • Return new unopened product for credit - Product box must be factory sealed and in as shipped condition. A 20% restocking fee will apply and must be completed within 10 days from the invoice date.
  • Warranty does not cover any physical damage on processors, which includes over-clocking or modifications, burned processors due to insufficient cooling, any damage due to incorrect attachments of fans, etc.

chipmax.com will not be liable if you order the wrong product. We provide technical specification and manufacturer part number information so that you can make an educated buying decision. Also, please do check the manufacturer Web sites for compatibility and technical information if there are further questions.

You select shipping method at the time of purchase. You have the option of ground, second day, next day, or Saturday delivery. Total shipping charges are calculated based on the total weight of the all the items in your order. The shipping cost is quoted along with the particular service on the Shipping page. The shipping costs are not refundable.

Prices are final at the time of purchase. Our prices are updated daily. At the time you make a purchase you agree to the listed price. We cannot make a price adjustment after an order has shipped. Our costs simply change on a daily basis, and we pass the values along every day. Promotions may not be applied after an order is placed. If you have a promotional code, please enter it under the "Add to basket" link on the product page. Multiple product promotions cannot be used together.

Merchandise Return: All merchandise to be returned to chipmax.com must have a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. To obtain an RMA number, please contact our RMA department. Each RMA number is valid for 10 days only. A 20% restocking fee may apply on returned products that do not contain manuals, software, cable and accessories originally purchased. Any return sent freight collect, COD or without the RMA number written on the shipping label will be refused unless prior approval is given.

Freight must be prepaid and insured to our returns warehouse. The customer is responsible for shipping returns to our warehouse, and chipmax.com will pay to ship the replacement back to the customer. We ask that shipments to our returns warehouse be done using UPS or FedEx so that you can get a tracking number and be sure that the shipment does arrive.

Limitation of Liability: chipmax.com shall not be liable under any circumstances for any special consequential, incidental, punitive, or exemplary damages arising out of or in any way connected with the agreement to sell product to buyer or the product, including, but not limited to, damages for lost profits, loss of use, lost data, or for any damages or sums paid by buyer to third parties, even if chipmax.com has been advised of possibility of such damages. The foregoing limitation of liability shall apply whether any claim is based upon principles of contract, warranty, negligence or other tort, breach of any statutory duty, principles of indemnity or contribution, the failure of any limited or exclusive remedy to achieve its essential purpose, or otherwise.

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, chipmax.com shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. chipmax.com shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, chipmax.com shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price. chipmax.com has all rights reserved.
